Uroro Majik (ウロロの
Summary[]
In their world, magic is alive. These living forms of magic, called "Majiks," are hunted by witches, special women who defeat Majiks and absorb their powers. The strongest and most beautiful witch is Desscaras, who used her incredible talent and skills to nearly destroy an evil Majik named Uroro. However, Uroro has a unique trait: he can't be defeated by a woman. Just when Desscaras was in a tough spot, a random boy, who happens to be Ichi, showed up and somehow managed to defeat Uroro, gaining his power instead.
All of this explanation were part of Desscaras' illustrated story book, which she was explaining to Ichi while keeping him imprisoned in a cage, calling him a "dumb kid." Ichi thought some details of the story were questionable but decided to go along with it. He then asked Desscaras why she was keeping him in the cage, to which she pointed out what he'd done earlier—accidentally using her own Majik ability, Lazud, and nearly destroying Druid Mountain. Desscaras demanded he repent, but Ichi remained stubborn.
Desscaras explained to Ichi that the Majik he acquired from Uroro is extremely dangerous. Its scientific name is the Ultra Amplification Majik, but it's better known as King Uroro itself. For a thousand years, witches like her have tried and failed to obtain this powerful Majik. The Ultra Amplification Majik does exactly what it says—it takes any magical effect and amplifies it to its fullest potential. For example, a normal magic spell becomes incredibly destructive when amplified by this Majik. The problem is, this power works without any practice or training. The user, who is now Ichi, only needs to say the proper chant, and the spell will activate at full strength. This is what caused the near destruction of Druid Mountain earlier. Desscaras emphasized that King Uroro’s Majik, which has threatened the magical world for so long, has now fallen into the hands of Ichi—whom she mockingly calls a "snot-nosed monkey-boy" who doesn’t know the first thing about magic. She wanted him to understand just how serious the situation is.
Desscaras mentioned that after Ichi fired that powerful attack, the downside was that it knocked him out for three days. Ichi was shocked to hear this, and Desscaras casually added that she had tried to wake him up by slapping him several times, but he didn’t react at all. Ichi then muttered, "No wonder my cheeks sting." She also mentioned that she tried using a loud sound spell to wake him up, but that didn’t work either. She even attempted a revivification spell, but instead of reviving him, it made the plants around him spring to life. Ichi found this amusing and said he’d love to see that happen.
Desscaras then laid out Ichi's only two options: become her servant—though she quickly corrected herself to "companion"—or run and desperately try to hide as the entire world comes after him. Ichi fell silent for a moment before questioning if he heard her right about "the whole world" and if she really said "servant." Desscaras calmly replied that he had no idea how unusual he was. She explained that he might be the first male witch ever, and witches and researchers from around the world would be eager to capture him. If he got caught, he'd live the life of a guinea pig, experimented on day and night. This made Ichi imagine the worst possible scenarios in his head.
Desscaras explained that her main concern was with Uroro, who is now inside Ichi. She wanted to keep Uroro close by and told Ichi to follow her instructions, promising to protect him from the fate of becoming a guinea pig. Uroro, appearing in his blob form from Ichi's side, laughed at Desscaras' offer and suggested that Ichi should run instead. He warned Ichi not to be fooled by Desscaras, claiming she was just trying to steal him from Ichi. Uroro, who's trying to tease Ichi, saying he would help him escape, regardless of the world's pursuit, and called him his partner.
Instead of responding, Ichi suddenly attacked Uroro’s blob form on his shoulder, surprising both himself and Uroro. As Uroro moved to Ichi’s other shoulder and complained about having his head sliced off, Ichi remarked that if a strange blob grew out of his shoulder, he’d definitely cut it of while indicating he sensed a murderous intent, to which Desscaras added that it would only lead to Uroro losing his head. Uroro screamed at both of them for agreeing with each other.
Desscaras told Uroro not to bother trying to turn Ichi against the Witches Association, knowing he was trying to get Ichi killed. She explained that Majiks are freed when their master dies. Ichi glared at Uroro, who turned away. Uroro then said that even if he accepted that Ichi had acquired him, he would never cooperate with witches, especially if it meant helping Ichi hunt other Majiks. Ichi asked what "hunt" meant, and Uroro explained that witches are ruthless, hunting his kind, which are Majiks. Desscaras angrily interrupted, saying they hunt Majiks like Uroro because they cause destruction. Uroro countered, saying Majiks are the original species with a history much older than humans. Desscaras told him to get with the old times already and called him a geriatric Majik, mentioning that many Majiks now work with humans. Uroro dismissed this, calling those Majiks traitors. The argument was interrupted by Ichi, who asked if there were many Majiks like Uroro. His determined and interested expression gave Desscaras an idea.
She told Ichi that there are many kinds of Majiks, all powerful and cunning, making them intriguing prey. This piqued Ichi’s interest even more. She explained that there are currently 3,185 confirmed Majiks, with 402 having been acquired by witches. However, countless unknown Majiks are still out there, hiding in places like the heart of volcanoes, the silent depths of the ocean, or even in forgotten corners of dusty studies. While no one has found all of them yet, witches know they’re there. Tracking, hunting, and acquiring these Majiks is part of a witch's job, whether they are high in the sky or deep underground.
Desscaras mentioned that she had visited Ichi’s house and, from the way he lived, it was clear he was a hunter. Normally, men have no connection to magic, but by some miracle, Ichi acquired Uroro and gained power. With this power, Ichi could hunt Majiks. This made Uroro nervous, thinking Desscaras was a sneaky witch trying to convince a crazy human like Ichi to do something extremely dangerous. Uroro worried about being loose with Ichi in the magic world. After a moment of hesitation, Ichi agreed to Desscaras’ proposal, which shocked Uroro. Ichi admitted he still didn’t fully understand witches and magic but is willing to think about it after hunting a few Majiks. Seeing Ichi’s acceptance, Desscaras cheered, as she had won. She then snapped her fingers, making the cage around Ichi disappear, and told him they need to leave Druid Mountain quickly because she had a lot of messages to handle.
Noticing the destruction he caused to the mountain, Ichi asked Desscaras about the Revive Spell she mentioned earlier and requested the chant of it. Desscaras told him it was “be thee reborn-parthion.” Confused by Ichi’s sudden question, Desscaras watched in shock as Ichi transformed back into his witch form. She became nervous, worried about what Ichi was planning. Ichi simply said he wanted to try using the magic. Desscaras frantically warned him not to, questioning if Ichi even heard her earlier advice. Ichi acknowledged that he would be asleep for three days again, but he trusted Desscaras to handle things. He added that before leaving, he felt it was right to make amends for the damage he caused. Facing Druid Mountain, he chanted the Revive Spell, which restored the entire mountain to its previous state. The spell caused him to fall asleep, and Uroro felt weakened by the amplification of the spell.
Monegold finally got through to Desscaras and demanded an explanation about everything she had seen through the surveillance mirrors, especially regarding the restored Druid Mountain. Desscaras, frustrated while her dress got caught on a tree branch, just wanted to dump Ichi somewhere in the woods and leave.
