Summary[]
Uroro recounts how before humans showed up all the majiks lived together, learning and growing in peace. He bitterly asks why humans must be the ones to spread and thrive at the expense of his kind who get exploited and used as tools for the humans' selfish desires. Acknowledging Ichi's potential, Uroro says that with his help, Ichi could easily wipe out all witches.
Pointing out how Ichi just attacked the mirror on the ceiling after sensing their malice, Uroro says that the boy could just as easily aid the majiks and asks him to join forces. Ichi reaches for Uroro's outstretched hand and shoulder throws him. He points out the flaws in Uroro's claims, saying that if he hated majiks being hunted as much as he said then he would have been more upset when they captured Inazuri. Flashing back to his experience as a hunter, he also says that if Uroro really wanted revenge for majiks then his eyes would gleam with a fierce light.
Instead, Uroro's eyes were empty, as if he wasn't interested in anything but himself. Ichi then says that he has been sensing Uroro's bloodlust this whole while and resisting the urge to stab himself to get rid of the hostile presence constantly within him. Seeing that the sympathy angle was not working with Ichi, Uroro smirks and taunts the boy, saying the world would have been better off if he had accepted his offer. Ichi retorts that the majik has finally revealed his true colours. Calling him a parasite, he gleefully relishes that he can now hunt more pests like Uroro and the two begin to have a fist fight.
The witches observing this say that the pair are compatible and Shirabedonna says that she believes Ichi is the right one. Stepping over to the fight she points to Ichi and tells him that she vouches for him. Declaring the judgement to be complete she announces that Ichi is now recognized as a witch of the Mantinel Witches Association. Seeing that all the other witches also gave their approvals, Ichi is surprised at how quickly it all happened. Shirabedonna says that it's because as the Analytic Witch she is never wrong and that once she approved of him the others followed suit, trusting in her judgement.
Kumugi is appointed as Ichi's watcher, to observe and record his actions just in case so that the witches don't get taken by surprise if Ichi decided to go rogue. Ichi is then ushered to the Fashion Department to receive his new uniform. The members of the department say that they had never designed a man's uniform before and that they went all out on making it out of excitement. The girl at the counter flirts with Ichi and says she wants to get proper measurements of him, asking him to drop by later.
The group also makes a stop at the Wand & Tools Department to have Ichi's knife worked on where they are also met with enthusiasm at the prospect of working on Ichi's equipment. They move on to Ichi's next mission, where the target is the Hisame Majik, which has been causing frost damage to nearby villages. They are dubbed Team Desscaras comprising of Desscaras, Ichi and Kumugi as they prepare to go hunt the shark majik.
