“Ichi” (イチ Ichi) is the first volume of the Japanese manga series Ichi the Witch, written by Osamu Nishi and illustrated by Shiro Usazaki.

Synopsis[]

In this world, magic is a living thing. And the hunters who overcome difficult trials and master magic are called "Witches". One day, deep in a remote mountainous region, a fierce battle was being waged between a fearsome king Majik and the strongest witch. But then, an out-of-place boy intervenes. His name is Ichi. A hunter living in the mountains with no connection to Witches or Majik turns the world's common sense upside down! A magical hunting fantasy begins!

Cover and Volume Illustration[]

The volume's cover features Ichi, donning his black witch outfit complete with a black and gold hat and white belt. He is slightly leaning forward while holding his hunting knife on a reverse grip with his right hand. The title (魔男のイチ) and its Romaji "Madan no Ichi" is written on the top of the cover above Ichi.

The volume's number and title are on the bottom right below the series' title, and the Jump Comics watermark appearing on the bottom right corner.
