The Author's Comments are short comments by Osamu Nishi and Shiro Usazaki included in the table of comments at the back of each Weekly Shounen Jump issue.
Due to the dual authorship of Ichi the Witch, it is common for only one of the series' creators to leave a comment in each issue. Typically, these are Osamu Nishi in even-numbered chapters and Shiro Usazaki in odd-numbered chapters, with both including an introductory comment alongside Chapter 1.
Below is a list of their comments, indexed by Jump issue and corresponding Ichi the Witch chapter. The official VIZ Media website translates these comments each week in a blog series titled Mangaka Musings.
